Peachtree Flight Center Changes Name to Falcon Air Services, Inc.
PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (ContentDesk) February 9, 2006 -- Peachtree Flight Center, of Peachtree City, Ga. is formally announcing the change of the company name to Falcon Air Services, Inc.Owned by Mr. Daniel J. Waters of Griffin, Ga.
Falcon Air Services has increased their focus on enhancing the quality of aviation through several additional endeavors.
With the name change Falcon Air Services, Inc. has recently added several divisions to the company to broaden the scope of the once flight school to a full service aircraft management facility that includes:1) Falcon Aviation Academy has recently been approved by the FAA as a Part 141 accredited flight school to also include VA (Veteran Association) educational benefits and will soon be approved for international student training through TSA and Homeland Security approval.
The academy trains all ages of students from the beginning Private or Recreational Pilot to the career or Airline Transport Pilot.
They operate a full fleet of new Diamond manufactured aircraft with up-to-date and state-of-the-art avionics and navigational equipment in addition to offering classes that will decrease owner insurance rates on any Diamond aircraft.2) Falcon Air, a FAA approved Part 135 Air Carrier able to charter flights to any location in the lower 48 states with applications in the process for international approval.
Currently operating two Piper Navajo aircraft, the fleet is soon to expand with the addition of several turbo-prop and/or turbo-jet aircraft.3) Falcon Aviation Maintenance, a Diamond Authorized Service Center and full service maintenance facility for light single engine to heavy twin engine piston aircraft.
This division is the responsibility for all training aircraft and charter aircraft in addition to performing work on many outside customers from the local area.
Currently, appropriate procedures are in place to begin the process for turbo-prop and turbo-jet maintenance service with approval within the next 6 months.4) Falcon Aircraft Management This division of the corporation specializes in taking the worries off the owners of aircraft by taking care of all aircraft operational factors including: airworthiness, inspections, certifications, and pilot services.
